QuickBooks Integration Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Wright Industries (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information accessed through the Wright Industries Integration (the “Application”), an internal accounting-integration application that connects to QuickBooks Online via Intuit’s QuickBooks Online Accounting API.

1. Information we access

When an authorized administrator connects a QuickBooks Online company to the Application, the Application is granted permission to read and, where authorized, write accounting data through Intuit’s API. This may include: company profile information, chart of accounts, customers, vendors, products and services, invoices, bills, payments, journal entries, payroll summary data (where applicable), and financial reports (balance sheet, profit and loss, accounts receivable aging, accounts payable aging).

The Application is used exclusively for QuickBooks Online companies owned or operated by Wright Industries and its affiliated entities. We do not access QuickBooks Online data belonging to third parties.

2. How we use information

QuickBooks Online data accessed through the Application is used solely for:

  • Internal financial reporting and analysis
  • Bookkeeping automation (e.g., creating invoices, recording payments)
  • Cross-company consolidated reporting for entities under common Wright Industries ownership
  • Operational integrations with other internal systems (CRM, e-commerce, shipping)

We do not sell, rent, or share QuickBooks Online data with any third party. We do not use QuickBooks Online data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the operation of Wright Industries’ own business.

3. Data storage and retention

The Application stores OAuth refresh tokens and realm identifiers locally on Wright Industries’ own infrastructure for the purpose of authenticating to Intuit’s API. Accounting data is retrieved on-demand and is not persistently stored by the Application beyond what is required for the active processing of a given report or workflow.

If access to a QuickBooks Online company is revoked, all OAuth tokens and any locally cached data related to that company are deleted within seven (7) days.

4. Security

All communication between the Application and Intuit’s API uses TLS 1.2 or higher, as required by Intuit. OAuth credentials are stored locally on Wright Industries’ own infrastructure with access restricted to authorized personnel. We do not transmit QuickBooks Online data outside Wright Industries’ infrastructure.

5. Revoking access

Any authorized administrator of a connected QuickBooks Online company may revoke the Application’s access at any time by navigating to Settings → Apps → Connected Apps inside QuickBooks Online and selecting Disconnect. Upon revocation, the Application will no longer be able to access data from that company, and all locally stored tokens for that company will be purged.

6. Children’s privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

Wright Industries may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL, with the “Last updated” date at the top reflecting the most recent revision.

8. Contact
